Massive Winter Storm Grounds Over 8,000 Flights Across the U.S.

A powerful winter storm is disrupting travel nationwide, forcing the cancellation of more than 8,000 flights across the United States. Over 200 million Americans are preparing for severe weather starting Friday, as heavy snow and freezing rain sweep east from the High Plains and Rocky Mountains. The National Weather Service warns of “extremely dangerous” conditions across large parts of the country.
