Another historic step by Pakistani mountaineer Samina Baig

Pakistani female mountaineer Samina Baig has taken another step towards completing the Explorer Grand Slam.
Samina Baig, who hails from Gilgit, reached the South Pole. Samina Baig reached the South Pole from the Union Glacier.
In this regard, the mountaineer’s brother Mirza Ali said that his sister Samina adopted a skiing route for her journey, which was a challenging stage.
He added that Samina Baig hoisted the Pakistani flag and the community flag upon reaching the South Pole.

Samina Baig has her sights set on completing the Explorer Grand Slam. For this goal, Samina Baig now only has to reach the North Pole. To complete the Explorer Grand Slam, she has to reach the South and North Poles along with the Seven Summits.

It should be noted that Samina Baig has already completed the Seven Summits by climbing 7 major peaks of 7 continents.
